Nomaads, a trio from the Bronx, released the underground classic "The Ultimate" in 1994 that got mixed up at the legendary D&D studios. Today the group has sadly only one living member, Arsonists' MC Q-Unique ... R.I.P. MC Beretta and DJ Mel Ice. Q, Mel & Baretta formed the group Nomaads in the streets of the Lower East side in NYC, where Mel lived. They first started recording demos with a producer named Thomas Owens.
Afterwards Skeff Anselm (A Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, MC Serch and many more) reached out to Mel Ice to build on some music, so they recorded a few demos with him.

The Throwback EP is limited to 350 copies. The first 120 copies come on burgundy coloured vinyl - the remaining 230 are on traditional black wax.
