SWC / Six2Six ft. Various Artists

SW:SIX Music presents their new 8 track EP „Convergence“ that was recorded at Ghetto Stud studio between 2013 and 2014. These tracks feature most of the MC's and producers who released on the two labels Six2Six and SWC Records like MI (Constant Deviants), FlaFla (Sparrow), Supreme, Rome, Steve Colossal, DJ Eagle, Starshit, Switchflow, DJ Impact, Dreem and many many more.

After "Alpine Metropolis" (2014), "Swiss Banks" (2015) and "The Jacob Theology" (2015), Lausanne based record label SWC continues the collaboration with Baltimore's Six2Six for their 4th project. The vinyl release is limited to 500 copies with picture sleeve.

Both, Monsta Island Czars MC Junclassic and UK producer duo Coconut Delight & Mr. Manyana aka Jazz Spastiks made a lot of noise with dope releases in the past few years, this collaboration is something gooooood!

Chopped Herring: ft. Jay Glaze

"Operation Clam Dust" is the unheard masterpiece of jAy gLaZe that was created between late 2005 and early 2008. This is so to say the follow-up of the 2004 "Three Sinister Syllables" mix.

This is a next level exploration into digging, sampling and audio animation. All manner of world breaks, private press LP's, obscure soundtracks, Bolivian polka jawns are up in that piece.

"Eight years after it was made, there has been nothing that even comes close to the complexity of this project", Chopped Herring explained.

In 1995 Peanuts & Corn Records released the cassette only album "Next School Pioneers" by Different Shades Of Black. It's now getting re-released on cassette and first time on vinyl by Roots Forward Records.

The crew from Winnipeg, Canada was consisted of Mista Christ, Scuskotch Tha Ill Lyrasis and Marvelous. 

Released will be a limited vinyl version (250 copies only) as well as another limited cassette edition.

Dope Folks: DF-0079 ft. Casual

Oakland MC and Hieroglyphics member Casual collaborates with Dope Folks Records to release the 1997 cassette only album "Meanwhile ...". Together with his Hiero mates Opio, Tajai and Pep Love he recorded 14 tracks which finally make it on a solid piece of wax.

Late August, early September the pre-order will start via Dope Folks bigcartel store and it will be as usual limited to about 300 - 350 copies. Maybe we'll see some colored wax again too?

Dinked: RR-004 ft. DJ Suspect & Doc TMK

Doc TMK produced his first track "Physical Phunk" in 2009 under the pseudonym Mister Fab. He got influenced by all kind of styles from French rock oldies to deep soul or rare groove to finally specialize in producing old school boom-bap beats.

He has been allied with DJ Suspect since 2012 to release several tracks you can find also on SBS. Their collaboration has recently brought us the LP "Giving Space To The Sun" in which he has produced the whole thing in collaboration with DJ Suspect.

In 1993/1994 there were those Junior Mafia Demos that never made it on the album - with the Biggie verses - and you can tell, from the melody of his rhymes, that those verses were most likely written for these beats - never heard, never leaked.

Straight from the vaults of the legendary and often unsung original creator Daddy-O. 

And on the flip - an unreleased Freestyle Fellowship joint from around the same time produced by Stetsasonic's Daddy-O.

The EP is limited to 500 copies - the first 75 copies come on black/clear vinyl - the next 125 copies on silver perl and the remaining 300 are on traditional black wax.

Redefinition: RDF-099 ft. Damu The Fudgemunk

The first ever picture disc from Damu The Fudgemunk needs a Stitch By Stitch blog entry and it features previously unreleased instrumentals summarized on "Untitled Vol. 2".

Untitled Volume 2 is a 12" picture disc that marks the second installment in Damu's Untitled series following the release of Volume 1 in July '16.

All of the music showcased on Untitled V2 has never been officially released, yet some of it may have been exposed over the years from various live videos, through word of mouth and a couple leaked mp3's. The project was curated by Damu with the intention of packaging some of his most personally dear and sought after work on one title. If you have been following the Fudgemunk and Redef for the last decade, then the assembled music should immediately remind you of the journey.
